The German Conference on Bioinformatics (GCB) is an annual,
international conference devoted to all areas of bioinformatics.
Recent meetings attracted a multinational audience with
250 – 300 participants each year.
The meeting is open to all fields of bioinformatics.
GCB 2015 is organised by the bioinformatics groups of TU Dortmund,
Ruhr-Universität Bochum and Universität Duisburg-Essen
in cooperation with the joint special interest group Bioinformatics
(gemeinsame Fachgruppe Bioinformatik, FaBI) of
the German Society for Chemical Engineering and Biotechnology (DECHEMA),
the German Society for Computer Science (GI),
the Society for Biochemistry and Molecular Biology (GBM), and
the German Chemical Society (GDCh).
The GCB 2015 survival guide is available with useful information about the conference and its program.
Please do not print it; you will receive a copy at the conference.
You will also receive a 4-day local transportation ticket for Dortmund and Bochum, so don't buy one!
The GCB 2015 PeerJ Collection is available online. It contains all proceedings papers and conference abstracts: invited talks, junior research group presentations, research hightlights, and poster abstracts. Conference attendees will also receive this collection on a specially designed USB stick.
Registration is still open.
Please bring confirmation of payment to the conference, as we may not be able to verify that you paid in time before the conference starts!
